Most of the fires are a good distance from us but the air quality is bad all over. Crest, where Julia’s mom and dad live, was evacuated due to the Harris Fire but they had already evacuated themselves before the official notice. They went to the river in Yuma (they have a trailer park vacation home there) to avoid the smoke and stress.
My office was closed on Monday and looks like it will be closed through Wednesday at least. Many people from my office will be affected by the fires but no news yet. I’m sure it will be a while before we learn all the details. Until then, we can only pray and offer our help and support.
