I recently upgraded my wordpress files to the latest version (2.0.6) only to discover that there is yet another version released (2.0.7). Luckily, the upgrade path from 2.0.5 is relatively easy and from 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 it is even easier but still…
The farther out of date you get, the more files you have to delete and reinstall, so make sure you upgrade your wordpress installation before you get too far behind. Let me know if you notice anything wierd since there may be a few suprises with any upgrade.
UPDATE: If you use WPG2 to integrate Gallery2 into WordPress and use G2Image Chooser, be sure and save this folder
\wp-includes\js\tinymce\plugins\g2image
Nothing apparently strange or out of place here (so far). I was going to go 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 until I read about a target date of “the 22nd” for 2.1…
The only thing is that there are a couple of security fixes in 2.0.6 and 2.0.7 (fixes one 2.0.6 created) and 2.1 may mot be compatible with some plugins (wpg2 comes to mind for me)
