It doesn?t happen often, but when it does, it?s always a big hit. Starting tomorrow, February 1 through 15, 2009, Britax will be holding a sales event in the Baby Store with select Britax car seats
marked down by as much as 20%. Most Britax car seats on Amazon will be included in the offer.
When Corbin was born we took him home in the wonderful Britax Companion Car Seat. A rear-facing only infant carrier that fits children from 4 to 22 pounds, up to 30 inches. We thought we’d use this car seat throughout Corbin’s first year. Unfortunately, he doubled his weight in 3 months (6 months is typical) and by 4 months he was already getting too long. That’s why we upgraded him to the Britax Boulevard Convertible Car Seat (Huntington).
The Boulevard from Britax offers a host of comfort and safety features designed to keep your child secure while traveling in the car. Made to accommodate your child throughout his infancy, the Boulevard can be used as either rear facing for babies five to 35 pounds and a standing height of 49 inches or less, or forward facing for those babies weighing 20 to 65 pounds, with a standing height of 49 inches or less.
So why didn’t we start with this car seat? Like I said, we thought that the Companion would last through his first year. Second, you can’t carry the Boulevard from the car to the house to the store then to the park… And it definitely doesn’t fit in the BOB Revolution Stroller (which we love).
If your considering the Bob Revolution Stroller and the Britax Companion Carrier, make sure you get the BOB Infant Car Seat Adapter. its compatible with Britax Companion 2003 & newer, Graco Snug Ride 2003 & newer, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 2003 & newer, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 2006 & newer, Graco Safe Seat 2006 & newer.
And while we’re on the subject, the BOB Handlebar Console was a god-send (Thank you DinkyInky)
More on the Britax Sale.
You’re very welcome. The wealth of happy Corbin pictures you share with me and my wee one are so precious.
