This is in response to an earlier question were I asked people to guess the source of a recent blog post title. When you’re done here, head on over to that post and take the quizzes, answer the other questions and definitely leave your comments. And now, without further ado, the Pie Song from Michael.
Pie, pie, me oh my,
Nothing tastes better, wet, salty and dry,
all at once – oh, well it’s pie.
Apple and pumpkin and mince and black bottom,
I’ll come to your place every day if you’ve got ’em.
Pie, me oh my, I love piiiiieeeeeee
Andie MacDowell sings her songs: “Pie, Pie, me oh my” and “Standing on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere” from the 1996 movie “Michael”, also starring John Travolta and William Hurt.

correction, if you please…
Pie, pie, me oh my,
Nothing tastes sweet, wet, salty and dry,
Quite so much as well as pie.
Apple, pumpkin, mince and black bottom,
I’ll come to your place every day if you’ve got ‘em.
Pie, me oh my, I love piiiiieeeeeee
Thanks J. I always thought I was missing a line but couldn’t figure it out.
So I double checked and the actual line is “all at once – oh, well it’s pie.” But I’m not sure whether its Black-Bottom, Wet-Bottom or My-Bottom pie.
