Microsoft has been beta testing a new Operating System (OS) to select Vista critics in San Francisco recently. While the users have some very distinct complaints about Vista 90% were pleasantly surprised by Microsoft’s new OS codenamed “Mojave” as in the desert where they have lots of mirages (aka where I grew up) the new OS performed very well and impressed the test group more than expected.
Now you may be wondering, “when and where can I get this new OS?” Simple, go buy the latest version of Vista. That’s right, Vista.
Spurred by an e-mail from someone deep in the marketing ranks, Microsoft last week traveled to San Francisco, rounding up Windows XP users who had negative impressions of Vista. The subjects were put on video, asked about their Vista impressions, and then shown a “new” operating system, code-named Mojave. More than 90 percent gave positive feedback on what they saw. Then they were told that “Mojave” was actually Windows Vista.
Am glad they called it Mojave and not Brooklyn Bridge!!But why play games? Its like serving frog-legs and saying its chicken. Judge Judy said it best: Don’t pee on my legs and tell me its raining.”
Some hacker pestered my XP for a week, (inspite of my having a paid TrendMicro Antivirus program), with a true icon copy of Microsoft attached to Antivirus2009. It took me four different phone calls to speak to four different Techies at TrendMicro, to get rid of the evil menace. Hope someone from Microsoft is reading this, and will go after this evil person.”
