This has been floating around the emails lately and shown up on a blog or two, but in case you are out of the loop…here it is.
Pretty messed up ain’t it. That’s what I thought when I forwarded it to a few friends and family. But then I learned something interesting. Thanks to a hot tip from Carl, I see this is not all it’s cracked up to be.
Did you see it? Right there about a minute into the video. Turns out the first footage was nothing more than an out of frame home video of the fight scene. Very convincing and fun to watch, but anything but authentic.
I actually just got that email last week. Staged, huh? Beat.

Aw man! I forwarded that to a bunch of people, thinking it was real. Oh well, still a good lesson about “pride cometh before a fall” :)
