Happy Birthday Julia

Every few years, either my birthday or Julia’s birthday falls on Thanksgiving day. Last year was my turn, but this year, Julia has the honors. This is a special opportunity for me since I can express just how thankful i am for Julia and all she does.

First, she is a wonderful woman and makes my heart sing when I think of all she does for our family. Second, the fact we are a family is quite amazing. Not only did she bare the brunt of pregnancy and delivery* but she also has the added challenge of taking care of Corbin throughout the day (something I’m envious of, but she does it well so I can’t complain).

If you’ve never met Julia, you’re missing out. If you have met her, then you know what a wonderful, compassionate, caring person she is. Always willing to help, offering kindness and encouragement she is a beacon of Christ’s love for everyone around her. Corbin and I are so lucky to have her in our lives and it’s evident in his good nature how much he benefits from it.

*if you love your pregnant wife, then you feel the aches and pains too. If only in your heart. My biggest struggle was not being able to ease her pain – so yeah, I bore some of it too.

  1. You have been bless with a wonderful wife, and it is an honor for me to call her my sister and friend. :)

Also, a very Happy Birthday to you.

    God Bless you both.

  2. I boast of her kindness, her laughter and her joyful ways. I boast of her love for my son and grandchild. She is not just a daughter-in-law, she is my daughter-of-love.

Julia is God’s gift to all of us, but most of all, she is His gift to you!
