This weekend was great. The weather was awesome, the bay wasn’t crowded and Easter lunch was fun. Friday night, our friend Angie came over (long overdue) and she made us dinner and we taught her how to play Settlers of Catan. I won both games but it was close.
Saturday, we went down to the bay to hang out with some friends and enjoy the weather. Despite being Spring Break, there wasn’t a lot of people around. I think the one-year drinking ban has something to do with that. We enjoyed just sitting around in the shade, playing a little V-ball, and taking the occasional stroll. I think being outside for a while did all of us a lot of good.
Sunday was Easter and we spent the day with the San Diego family at Mae’s. After the girls finished there Easter Egg Hunts (Uncle Ed re-hides the plastic eggs for the girls to find again) we enjoyed a nice Easter Lunch on the large patio/balcony and watching the various B-ball games and golf on TV.
I can’t wait for next year when Corbin can participate in the egg hunt. I think he’ll take after me and be a natural plastic egg hunter.

I did write something here earlier in the week, but apparently it didn’t post. Oh well.
Anyway, I’m glad you, Julia and Corbin had a good easter. And next year I expect to see a photo of Corbin with chocolate easter egg all around his mouth.
