View a specific Circle's stream.
On the volume control slider, click and drag until you get to the far right with the bell (notification) icon.
Get notified every time someone from that circle posts.

Did I just miss this or is it new? I've been wanting to be able to do that for awhile.
It's new.
This makes a post that I read earlier make a little more sense. Someone was complaining about notification emails. As soon as I turned on notifications for posts from my 'friends' circle I started getting email notifications as well as G+ notifications.
Hasn't rolled out for me yet, it seems. :-/

Funny story, I just checked again, and it just rolled out in the last minute or so.
It was still showing me the circle shaped slider earlier.
If anyone else is having trouble, just let me know. I'll fix it for you too.
