Year in Review

I did this last year and I wanted to see if it got any better. Becky68 suggested I list the first line from the first post for each month of last year, as a way to recap the year that was. Look for [my comments]

January: The first line from the first post for each month of last year, as suggested by Becky68 [OK, I didn’t see that one coming]

February: Personally, I didn?t see this one coming. [OK, now I’m starting to freak myself out]

March: So we?re sitting in the airport waiting to board our plane and we?re having to dodge the flock of birds that live here. [talk about fun…]

April: A friend of mine from the Inktank forums has started the Wii Weight Loss Plan and has already starting to get some press coverage. [very inspirational]

May: ?MacArthur Park? is an epic song written by Jimmy Webb and first performed by Richard Harris on his album A Tramp Shining in 1968. [and is about rain soaked cake – yum]

June: What Ancient Warrior are you? [Trebuchet operator]

July: I?ve lived in some form of a desert since I was 4 years old. [how sad for me]

August: Not too long ago, I added a feature to my site that linked to a random post on my site. [the problem with flair]

September: I?m always on the lookout for a good deal. [and this was a steal – literally]

October: I don?t remember how I found this but Chema Madoz is one very impressive artist.[wow cool]

November: Ninja Parade Slips Through Town Unnoticed Once Again [too bad you missed it]

December: This has been quite a busy weekend for us. [a weekend that changed our lives]

Well, it looks like I got better at the first lines bit, but I could still use some improvement. So what’s your year in review look like?

That was quite the quick “recap” of the past year. I would think your best of the past year was the birth of your son. The birth of my children were the best moments of 1991, 1992, 1994, and 1997.
