Corbin’s First Concert
Corbin’s almost 15 months now but he’s already been to one concert – and I don’t mean Raffi or Barney the Dinosuar. I mean a real, full-fledge, ringing-in-your ears concert. Of course, he doesn’t remember it. Back in October 2007, Julia and I went to see They Might Be Giants with two other couples – both of which were pregnant too. So here we are, three pregnant couples enjoying TMBG at the House of Blues. So why do I mention this? I happened across this video of the concert. You can’t see us as we’re “off-camera” but it’s still fun to reminisce.

We’ve never taken our kids to concerts when Dawn was pregnant, however we did go to her 10th High School Reunion when our oldest was just a new baby. I held her most of the time but the music was loud and she just slept in my arms.
When Corbin was just a few days old, we went to our Church Christmas party which was pretty loud – He slept through most of it.
My son got to see Milkshake(and anyone says that they don’t rock as much as a standard band is full of cornflakes and milk).
When pregnant I got to see a concert(didn’t know I was pregnant until afterwards) or two…
Guess that is why he loves such a broad range of music.
