I beat the 300 mark

This is just a quick note (mostly to myself) that I am currently ranked in the top 300 on SEOmoz.org.

SEOmoz, a Seattle-based SEO company, serves as a hub for search marketers worldwide, providing education, tools, resources and paid services. “Our vast community comprises more than 80,000 registered users interested in the search marketing field. Join them by reading our blog or contributing your own content”

They also offer some free tools which people obsessed with their site traffic and internet power (that’s me) may find useful. Including Trifecta, which tests the Strength of Your Page, Blog or Domain. I currently only rank at 13% while Julia ranks 12%. Blogogetics ranks at 10%.

0 – 14%
Under the Radar
These new or rarely noted blogs have extremely low levels of traffic and may not even be included in the search engines yet.

How sad
I was sure this site would rank above 14% Where did I go so wrong? All these sites rank lower than the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra Blog at 18% Maybe I’m just too diverse. I should really focus on - hey look, a bird…

15 – 29%
Just Emerging
These blogs have recently emerged from obscurity and have relatively low traffic and search engine ranking ability.

I did something similar and was equally disappointed with the results. Oh well! What can you do.
