In the town, Ulysses and Delmar meet a fast talking, one-eyed bible salesman named Big Dan Teague, who lures them out to a nearby field with talk of a lucrative business proposition. Instead of helping them however, Big Dan beats them, robs them, kills their frog, takes their money, and steals their stolen car.
