2007 California Building Code, Title 24 Part 2 - (order here)

This is a fully integrated code based on the 2006 International Building Code. Part 2 now also includes Title 24, Part 8 (California Historical Building Code) and Title 24, Part 10 (California Existing Building Code). This code comes in a 2 volume set. Included is a free subscription service for all state updates and supplements. Effective January 1, 2008. (loose-leaf, approximately 1,444 pages)

Working in architecture like I do, I find that I need to reference the CBC often. In fact, I refer to it often enough that I decided to purchase my own copy.

One problem with owning your own copy is that you need to keep it up to date. unfortunately, it updates often. Luckily, there is a free subscription to get updates mailed to your home or business. Unfortunately, you may have forgotten to register for that service - like a couple of my colleagues. So for them and others like them I offer a couple a quick links to help you along.
