Wendei from GodDivas has some wonderful (and cheap) Halloween costume ideas. My favorite? God’s Gift to Women.
Find a box large enough to fit around your body. Cut some holes for your arms and head, and then cover the box with wrapping paper. Add a large bow. Attach a tag that says “TO: Women, FROM: God”.

Piece of Gum Stuck to Your Shoe
Dress in all pink and attach a shoe to the top of your head.
Babysitter
Strap a baby doll to your behind and sit on it.
Sugar Daddy
Attach candy all over yourself.
Chip on Your Shoulder
Dress in regular clothes, and glue a poker chip to your shoulder.
Butt Head
Glue cigarette butts to a baseball cap.
Starbucks
Make some yellow stars out of paper or cardboard and pin them all over your clothes. Then take several dollar bills and pin them on also. Optional: carry a coffee mug.
Tea Bag
Wear a large garbage bag over your body. Attach a large letter “T” to the front.
Someone You Can Count On
Wear all black clothes. Cut out big, bright numbers and attach them to your clothes.
Self-Absorbed
Attach sponges all over your body.
Pain in the Butt
Attach a bandage or large bandaid to your bottom.
Mucho Dinero
Attach pictures of Robert De Niro all over yourself.
Black Mail
Wear all black, and attach a postage stamp to your chest.
Johnny Cash
Attach money all over yourself and wear a nametag that says “Johnny.” A guitar is optional.
Mastercard Ad
Wear whatever clothing you choose. Attach a sign to your back that says “Shirt: $30…Jeans: $50…Shoes: $70……Halloween costume that took minimal effort: Priceless.
Pot Head
Find a cooking pot from the kitchen that will fit nicely on your head.
Pick Pocket
Attach a guitar pick to your pocket. Gangrene
Everyone dresses like gang members with green clothes and green bandanas. (Gang Green — get it?)
Party Animals
Everyone wears a different animal costume (flamingo, gorilla, cat, etc.). Add party hats and party blowers. Run around tossing confetti.
Dixie Chicks
(For a group of all-girls) Everyone attaches dixie cups all over themselves
Dysfunctional Beauty Contestants
Everyone dresses up like contestants in a beauty contest, but wears sashes that say, “Miss Deameanor”, “Miss Understood”, “Miss Conduct,” “Miss Communication,” “Miss Behaving,” etc.
Smarty Pants
Attach Smarties candies all over yourself. (If you want, wear “nerdy” clothes, or a graduation cap).
Birthday Suit
Wear a suit and a birthday hat. Carry a horn or kazoo and sing “Happy Birthday” to yourself!
