Wow Luke...I'm sure that was a tough night. I've had to visit a number of homes of couples who have miscarried and it has never been easy. But God has been gracious. I hope the Lord gives you a safe rest rest-of-the-pregnancy!

Babies = scary, time and time again. You'll find yourself growing in faith and trust; you pretty much have to in order to deal with all the mind-boggling "potentials." Parenting is good; growing in faith is good.

I've never heard of all this Rh-negative stuff.

Anyway, I am happy and relieved to know that the baby is alright. And I will continue to pray for you both, as well as for the baby.

If you are O-positive, then you are NOT rh-negative. The positive in your blood type refers to your rh status. Thus, the baby may be rh-positive. This is why she got a Rhogam shot. Sounds like everything went perfectly in this instance, but keep in mind that Rhogam shots may be necessary in the future because you are not rh-negativce.
