One area of concern has been plugins. I have, over time, installed several plugins. Some work wonderfully, others have not. Unfortunately, I haven’t cleaned house for a while and so there are remnants of abandoned plugins within my wordpress files. As I tried to deactivate and uninstall some of these abandoned plugins, I discovered how many little pieces where floating around my site. Any ' or " characters in say, an edited comment got updated as \' and \". After much aggravation and searching I found this link with a plug-in to "fix" the 2.0.3 quirks: http://txfx.net/code/wordpress/wordpress-203-tuneup/ Downloading and installing the plug-in after getting 2.0.3 up and running might save you a little grief.
