Why I Switch Hosting Companies
Too many outages…
Earlier this afternoon, there was a problem involving one of our filing systems which affected performance on a large part of our network. The problem has been handled and all major services have been restored, although performance may be a little slow for the next few hours as various things come back up to speed.
At least they are good about keeping users informed via their forum/rss feeds

I plan to move this site from Powweb to 1and1 (see this post). I’ve always hosted there, in fact, this site started there. So I’m actually moving it back.
My other sites are still there, just not as active.
