From their FAQ

4. Can You Send Me A Tommy Burger In The Mail?
We cannot ship hamburgers due to quality concerns. We can freeze a quantity of our original recipe chili and ship it to you by overnight express. We will also give you directions to prepare your very own Tommy's burger at home. Please call us at 818-240-0019 for more details.
Also, sorry about the bad links. I was messing around with some settings and messed it all up. Hopefully, I got it all fixed but give it time to filter through the internet. Thanks.

I have heard of the Original Tommy's and I'm heading to San Diego in February so I'll definitely have to give them a try.
Here from Michele's

In-n-Out is really good too. I remember when they finally opened in Phoenix (used to live there too). It's not the fair to compare the two though. They are very different style of burger joints. I would also include Del Taco in one of SoCals greatest gifts to the world. It's not as "good for you" as Chipotle or Baja Fresh but is good in it's own way. You know, that greasy spoon kind of way. Yum!

Apparently a sourthern Cal thing. Too bad, sounds like someplace I'd want to try.

And the name? Makes me think of Perfect Tommy, one of my 2nd-tier heroes.
